The role of climate in Britain’s local and devolved elections 2026.

Britons still support the shift to clean energy, but climate change is becoming less of a priority when people decide how to vote, according to a new report from More in Common. Research around the 2026 elections in England, Scotland and Wales, finds the issue is now dividing voters within parties as much as between them.
