Progressive campaigns are very good at mobilising existing supporters but often struggle to reach groups who may have different starting points and values. Our training programme helps progressive campaigners and communicators understand why this happens, and what they can do about it.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Use More in Common’s Seven Segments to identify the audiences they need to reach
  • Frame messages that resonate with different values and starting points
  • Identify messengers and unexpected allies to reach different segments

Progressive Activists bring energy, commitment and drive to civil society, but also have distinct expectations of the workplace that can create leadership challenges. This training programme helps senior leaders, HR teams and board members manage values-driven teams while keeping the organisation focused on its mission.

They often do so with limited time, incomplete information and under intense scrutiny. This training programme helps leaders read public opinion more accurately and use these insights for decision-making.
