More in Common is a non-profit organisation committed to advancing the common good of the societies in which we work. We are independent of partisan or political interests.
More in Common UK is funded by a mix of our consultancy work and grant funders.
In the calendar year 2025, More in Common received income from 80 separate organisations, with no single organisation accounting for more than 10% of our income.
Around two thirds of our funding comes from consultancy projects with businesses, campaign groups, charities, local government, and non-profits. The remaining third of our income comes from grant funders.
Whenever a project is commissioned by a client or a grant funder, we always disclose this in our outputs relating to that project. Whenever polling is commissioned by any third-party, this is always disclosed on the cover page of the Excel file of the relevant polling tables, as per the British Polling Council rules.
For our public facing reports, we may work with a partner to develop survey questions and research goals. However More in Common always retains editorial independence and the final say over research design and final outputs.
