Mia Blainey

Executive Assistant

Mia joined More in Common in 2026 as Executive Assistant to the UK Director. She has experience across local government, media, and parliamentary settings, including at ITV, Global’s newsroom, an MP’s constituency office, and as a PA at the City of London Corporation. Mia studied History at the University of Warwick before completing an MPhil in American History at the University of Cambridge, focusing on public history, race, memory, and social justice. She has published in the Journal of American Studies and in Traces, a publication of UCL’s Centre for the Study of the Legacies of British Slavery.
