They are much more likely than the public to watch arts programming and listen to indie and folk music than the average Briton. They are also more likely to say they consume online politics and current affairs content than the average Briton.

Progressive Activists are more likely to get their entertainment from on demand or online sources such as streaming platforms and social media. They are slightly more likely than average to have subscriptions to services such as Disney+, Netflix, and Spotify. Possibly because they are a slightly more financially insecure segment, they are also slightly more likely than the public to have previously had one of these subscriptions, and to have cancelled them. They tend to watch their entertainment in their living room, but are also more likely than average to watch from their bedroom.

The Incrementalist Left are much more likely than the public to often watch comedy, both on TV and online, and are also drawn to romance and medical drama. They are somewhat more likely than average to enjoy TV and film in a language other than English. For news, they lean on BBC News and Sky News, and are less likely than the public to use GB News or the Daily Mail. Hip-hop and rap feature heavily in their listening, with over a quarter saying they often listen to hip-hop, more than the public as a whole.

They are more likely than average to have subscriptions to Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Premium. They are also more likely than the public to binge-watch most days, and to watch TV and film on a smartphone or laptop. Short-form social media content features heavily in their daily viewing, with almost half saying they consume it every day.

Established Liberals are much more likely than the public to regularly watch news, current affairs, and documentaries, and to consume online news, politics, science, and business content. They also watch more arts programming, historical and period drama, cookery and baking, and religious content than the average Briton. They are much more likely to rely on BBC News, and are engaged news consumers overall, with very few saying they do not regularly follow the news.

Established Liberals have an extensive and varied media diet. They are more likely than the public to watch live broadcast TV daily, while also being more likely to have subscriptions to a wide range of services including Sky, Apple TV, YouTube Premium, TNT Sports, Discovery+, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. They are also more likely than average to watch on a tablet or laptop, and to listen to podcasts at least weekly.

Sceptical Scrollers live up to their name. They are much more likely than the public to watch TV and film daily on a smartphone, and more likely to use a laptop too. Short-form social media content is a major part of their daily diet. They are more likely than average to have access to almost every kind of subscription, including streaming platforms, traditional TV packages, and more niche providers, though they are also much more likely to have cancelled or be likely to cancel many of these subscriptions. They are less likely than the public to regularly use the BBC, ITV, or Channel 4.

Rooted Patriots are more likely than the public to regularly watch soaps and local news, mainly consume news, true crime, comedy, and sport, and are among the most likely to rely on ITV News and regional ITV news. They are much less likely than the public to consume online content across the board. They are also less likely to enjoy TV or film in a language other than English.

They are also much less likely than the public to enjoy TV or film in a language other than English.

Traditional Conservatives have the most traditional viewing habits of any segment. They are much more likely than the public to watch live broadcast TV daily, and much less likely to use streaming services, online video, or short-form social media content. They are far less likely to have subscriptions to Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, or any of the major streaming platforms, and over half say they never watch TV or film on a smartphone. They rely heavily on terrestrial channels like BBC and ITV, and binge-watching is rare, with a majority saying they rarely, or never binge watch.

Despite their outlier political values, the content tastes of Dissenting Disruptors are broadly in line with the country as a whole. Thought their genre preferences are largely similar to the average Briton's, they are slightly more likely to enjoy horror, and cite the Lord of the Rings as their favourite film. Dissenting Disruptors' news diets stands out in a few ways. They are less likely than the public to use BBC News and much more likely to use GB News.
